• In Production - Winter 2014

When friends ask for an update on what's growing at our patch I have to consciously suppress the urge to launch into a detailed list of every little herb, vegetable and fruit planted in our garden that is slowly working its way to our plate.

My enthusiasm is a tell-tale sign that I am new to this whole scene: eating from your own backyard.  The novelty of seeing what form each plant will take and how each vegetable grows has not yet worn off.

So in order to quench my need to 'take stock' I have decided to do a seasonal 'In Production' update.  Not only will these updates be fun for us to look back on, but they will help curb my impatience with the crops that are still years off harvest by highlighting the produce we are currently enjoying.  So here is the winter 2014 edition of 'In Production'.
