There are certain priorities in everyone's life, and when it comes to D, finding a suitable cafe to read, re-caffeinate, think and work in is pretty high on the list. In Newcastle his special place was Suspension at Islington, but that's slightly too far away now for a Saturday morning or weekday afternoon drop in, so the hunt was on for a replacement.
I'm kinda proud to say that I found a very impressive cafe to fill the void, Favourite Chair Cafe in Maitland. Not only good coffee, but great location, right on the Maitland river, gorgeous eclectic furniture and an adorable one-of-a-kind backdrop of floor to ceiling books to peruse.
Mission accomplished!
