• 'Down to Earth' Rhonda Hetzel - Book Review

In early March I had the treat of a 4 hour Esta Bar catch up with Ali.  Numb bums went completely unnoticed as we sat and talked and sipped our favourite teas.

In 2009 a portion of almost all of my days were spent with this girl, but now our catch-ups are much further apart and for this reason I cherish them all the more.

I always come away from a conversation with Ali having learned something.  Most of the time it's the definition of a word, but in March I came away with a recommendation to a book that I am now in the final pages of, "Down to Earth", by Rhonda Hetzel.

For me, it's not so much that this book formed new ideas, but it encouraged and affirmed a way of life that is not widely accepted in society today.

I don't see myself adopting all of the principles within, but the changes it has prompted already have been so worthwhile.  A highly recommended read for anyone wanting to live a more conscious, wholesome, examined life.
