She has been a welcome personality around the place, scratching up our lawn, roaming around the yard in search of food and amusing us with her crazy chicken ways - and two days ago the real fun started when she laid her first egg!

We've been in our home for a little over 6 months, and while our semi rural plot seems the perfect place for a tribe of pets, a pet wasn't in our plans in the immediate future.
But two weeks ago Pippa came along, a stray chicken who decided to make our house her home. She has been a welcome personality around the place, scratching up our lawn, roaming around the yard in search of food and amusing us with her crazy chicken ways - and two days ago the real fun started when she laid her first egg!
